Tourists in the Øresund Region usually come from Germany or the Nordic countries, but more and more are making their way here from China and Russia, usually to Copenhagen. In 2013, the number of Russian and Chinese tourists to the Danish capital city had doubled since 2008. Danes are the second largest tourist group in Skåne, and Swedes are the largest tourist group in Sjælland. Norwegians, Brits and the Dutch are also frequent guests.
